Brian and I are morons that wore sandals but we made it work.
In our defense it was pretty hot in SLC and we failed to factor in the effects of an additional 6,000 feet in elevation.
POGO WAS THERE
We had worn our swimsuits and neither getting eaten alive by mosquitoes nor extremely cold water was going to stop us from getting in the lake! Even Pogo joined in (against his will).
After our dip we wandered around the rest of the lake. There was a rope swing that looked tempting until we saw that you might slam into the side of a giant boulder if you miscalculated the jump. Hard pass.
