We spent an extended time around in the holidays in our hometown of Phoenix, so when we got back to Utah we were eager to get outdoors and enjoy the winter. Pictured here is some snowshoeing around Wasatch Mountain State Park, trail riding around Deer Creek Reservoir (both in Midway), a close-to-home moose sighting, a snow picnic, and an ill-fated, abortive attempt to bike on a slush-filled road to the Fifth Water Hot Springs trail near Spanish Fork.
