Silver Lake Trail - September 20, 2015

Silver Lake Trail was a bit of a "hike" to get to (forever lol) as it was up American Fork Canyon above Sundance Resort, so almost 90 minutes from Park City. The drive was beautiful though. DSC_0919 DSC_0923 DSC_0932 DSC_0936

We weren't in the mood to kill ourselves so this 4ish mile hike was perfect. DSC_0940 DSC_0942 DSC_0950 DSC_0953

The lake at the top was really pretty - we'd noticed some chalky white mountain tops as we were driving in and they ended up being the peaks that loomed over Silver Lake. Apparently this is a moose hot-spot but we were there later in the afternoon so there were no critters to be found. DSC_0954 DSC_0958 DSC_0971 DSC_0962 DSC_0970 DSC_0959 DSC_0967

We'd been hiking near a creek for some of the way up and found it's point of origin from the lake. DSC_0974 DSC_0975 DSC_0977
