Silver Lake Trail was a bit of a "hike" to get to (forever lol) as it was up American Fork Canyon above Sundance Resort, so almost 90 minutes from Park City. The drive was beautiful though.
We weren't in the mood to kill ourselves so this 4ish mile hike was perfect.
The lake at the top was really pretty - we'd noticed some chalky white mountain tops as we were driving in and they ended up being the peaks that loomed over Silver Lake. Apparently this is a moose hot-spot but we were there later in the afternoon so there were no critters to be found.
We'd been hiking near a creek for some of the way up and found it's point of origin from the lake.
Bye Lake Friend!
Another successful 'tah Trail completed.
In other news...Pogo...the magnificence.
